About Mike Estep

Mike Estep    Mike Estep PhD has been a performing musician and private music instructor for many years in a variety of music styles. He is fluent on bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, and vocals - and is an expert in music, audio, and computing technologies. Mike has also taught music and computer courses at the university level for several years. He holds degrees in music education, computer science, and computing technology in education. Mike has independently spent years contemplating personal development and genius - discussing the benefits of unleashing both with his students.


About "Common Sense Outside the Box"

For a number of years, Mike's students have been asking him to share his unique insights in a way that could be experienced repeatedly and by a wider audience. After much contemplation, the use of use a blog made sense - the information could be conveyed in a similar manner as experienced in one of his classroom or private instruction settings. It is Mike's wish that this series will give the readers a perspective that makes sense but may not have been considered previously.
